FAQ’s
What is CBD?
CBD is an abbreviation for Cannabidiol, a prominent naturally-occurring cannabinoid compound that has significant medical benefits, but does not make people feel “stoned” like THC (Δ9-tetrahydrocannabinol). CBD has “anti-anxiety” properties, so it can actually “counteract” the psychoactivity of THC. After THC (Δ9-tetrahydrocannabinol), CBD is by far the most studied natural cannabinoid. According to many researchers, CBD may be the single most important cannabinoid ever discovered. We believe it is. *
The fact that CBD does NOT get you “high” makes it the best option for anti-inflammatory, anti-pain, anti-anxiety, anti-psychotic, and anti-spasm effects without troubling lethargy or getting “high” (Dysphoria). *
Scientific and clinical studies underscore CBD’s potential as a treatment for a wide range of conditions, including epilepsy, arthritis, diabetes, MS, chronic pain, schizophrenia, PTSD, antibiotic-resistant infections and other neurological disorders. CBD has demonstrated neuroprotective and neurogenic effects. Also, its anti-cancer properties are currently being investigated at several academic research centers in the United States, Israel since 1954, and now worldwide. *
What is CBDa?
About CBDa (CBD Acid)
CBDa is an abbreviation for Cannabidiolic Acid.
In nature, CBD and THC is found mostly in its “Acid” form: CBD is first “CBDa (CBD acid)” and THC is first “THCa (THC acid)“. The plants contain very little CBD or THC molecules.
If the Cannabis plant is eaten “Raw” (freshly “juiced” or “blended” into a “healthy fat” smoothie), you will not get the psychoactive “high” or side-effect. Historically, the dietary use of the entire raw cannabis plant dates back to the beginning of recorded time. We are convinced that oils containing a combination of CBDa (CBD Acid) and CBD together synergistically works much better than CBD alone. *
Are Hemp CBD products legal?

So there are no legal restrictions on their importation, production and consumption in the United States and in most of the industrialized world. The Medicinal Properties of Cannabidiol
Of course, we cannot “guarantee” any benefits. Yet, studies of CBD (Cannabidiol) has the following medicinal properties in humans and most other vertebrates. All of the following associations have been proven by research doctors and universities and published in reputable, peer-reviewed medical journals.
- Neuro-protectant – Repairs and protects the brain from both physical, chemical, neurodegenerative damage.
- Antioxidant – Destroys damage causing free-radicals.
- Anxiolytic – Reduces anxiety and depression without dangerous SSRIs or benzodiazepines.
- Anti-inflammatory – Studies show that CBD is a 60-100x better anti-inflammatory than ibuprofen. It also outperformed aspirin and tramadol in a recent study.*
- Apoptotic – Causes cancer cells to “self destruct” – in a healthy way. Research ‘apoptosis’ for more details.
- Anti-metastatic – Prevents cancer from spreading or metastasizing.
- Anti-angiogenic – Prevents cancer from growing blood vessels.
- Antiepileptic – Prevents or minimizes seizures. Which is often enhanced when combined with other cannabinoids.
- Antiemetic – Combats nausea and vomiting

Will Hemp CBD's interact with my prescription medications?
With cannabidiol (CBD) poised to become widely available in pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, and herbal preparations, medical scientists are taking a closer look at CBD-drug interactions.
Cannabidiol is a safe, non-intoxicating, and non-addictive cannabis compound with significant therapeutic attributes, but CBD-drug interactions may be problematic in some cases.
CBD and other plant cannabinoids can potentially interact with many pharmaceuticals by inhibiting the activity of cytochrome P450, a family of liver enzymes. This key enzyme group metabolizes most of the drugs we consume, including more than 60 percent of marketed meds.

How is hemp different than marijuana?
Hemp is not “Marijuana” and will not get you “High”. Hemp / Industrial Hemp is a commonly used term for Cannabis Sativa plant strains that contain very low levels (less than 0.3 %) of TetraHydroCannabinol (THC). It is thought to be one of the first cultivated plants because of the nutritious seeds and durable fiber.
